In order to maintain quality workmanship, the company has a policy whereby all drawings and pertaining information is first inspected thoroughly by the technical team leader. This is an effective internal quality management system which ensures that all information regarding a project does indeed comply with the local municipal requirements, and also the National Building Regulations.

ArchitectsINK is situated in the center of Namibia, in Windhoek, and has all the office space and technological facilities available, to take on all types of projects, whether large or small, for both residential and large scale industrial developments, and complete them successfully. We accept, manage, and complete projects in Namibia central, in the rural areas of the country, and in neighbouring countries as well.

Our Services

It is normally the client who decides to what extent the architect should be involved in managing a project. An architect’s involvement in a project could be at the least, a final sketch design of the project, or total involvement, where the architect oversees the entire project, from beginning to completion.

During consultation with ArchitectsINK, every stage will be discussed and explained in detail to the client by the project architect interested in taking on the challenge. The consulting services provided by the architect during the meeting, will result in a sketch design which is made according to the client’s wants and needs.

Sketch plans, as well as a graphic presentation clarifying the functions and visuals of the intended design, are usually included. The sketch design will then be forwarded to the technical team, who will prepare drawings for municipal submissions.

It is at this point where the client can choose to continue to the final technical construction drawings and hire the architect as the project and building contract administrator.

The software applications mentioned above enables our technical staff to exchange drawings, as well as pertinent information, with other professions associated with the industry.

Extremely comprehensive presentations, including 3D models, walk through and fly over video clips, realistic material finishes and so forth, can be generated using the above technology. These presentations are of tremendous help in understanding the flow and function of different areas, as well as the imagined atmosphere created in the design.

Images of the project can be presented by means of a PowerPoint slide show or, if the client requires, even imported in an Acrobat reader document.
